About a month ago, I submitted our game Quarterstaff to participate in Turn-Based Thursday Fest this weekend.<\/p>\n
We immediately launched into bug-fix and polish mode. Our game is in Early Access, but that doesn\u2019t mean we\u2019d submit a sloppy entry. We hustled, grinded, and frantically got our act together for a hotfix to go out ahead of the fest.<\/p>\n
On Monday, I realized that I hadn\u2019t heard anything from the event. Surely, they would have notified us if we weren\u2019t selected?<\/p>\n
Spoiler Alert: They didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
I was able to find out this unfortunate news through \u201cThe Turn-Based Games\u201d Discord with some difficulty, but it was even harder to share this news with my team who had been working so hard for the past few weeks.<\/p>\n
After I processed my frustration at having spurred my developers on to an imaginary finish line, I\u2019ve decided to make the best of an awkward situation.<\/p>\n
My team has worked just too damn hard for their efforts to go unseen and unappreciated.<\/p>\n
So, I\u2019ve decided to host my own streams throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n
With magic. And flourishes.<\/p>\n

It may be my first-time streaming. It also may be that my tech decides to crap out halfway through. I may also be talking to an invisible audience for three hours.<\/p>\n
No matter what, it\u2019s bound to be hilarious.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Join me as I play through Quarterstaff, answer questions, or just talk about our development process. You\u2019ll be able to enjoy the unique experience of a dev recapping all their proudest and most awkward moments, and probably cringing at any bugs that crawl out of the woodwork. We\u2019re still in Early Access, after all. And since I\u2019m a producer, I\u2019ll be taking notes.<\/p>\n
